APRESENTAÇÃO
The VI International Meeting on Urban Planning Experiences in Context of Social Conflict will take place from 7 - 9 August 2025, in Rio de Janeiro. The Meetings are held every two years, based on the understanding that the dynamics and processes of construction of a just city have roots in the daily life of social conflicts.
In all its editions, the Meeting has brought together academics from universities of different regions in Brazil and international guests, technical advisors, social movements, community organizations and popular leaders involved in territorial practices, consolidating the event as a reference in these fields. In this year, the event's main objective is to advance the debate on the theoretical challenges of planning and advisoring in conflict contexts, always in connection with social practices.
